"It's not what you say: Its how you say it" Communication tools to improve relationships with Seniors, By Ali Davidson
In this workshop you will learn how to:
•Build rapport instantly and influence with integrity
•Skillfully communicate with someone suffering from delusions and dementia
•Learn how to give bad news without getting shot
•Understand the developmental stage of Senior-hood
•Speak to people's values rather than your own
This will be a 3 hour CE presentation. Registration will be from 8:30-9:00 am and the course from 9-12 pm. Lunch will be included in registration cost and will be served from 12-12:30 pm followed by our CODHA meeting. The CODHA Annual Meeting will be from 12:30-1:30 pm.

Northwest Medical Teams Van - They travel to remote locations such as Christmas Valley, Gilchrist and Fossil to provide services for needy adults and children. Project Connect - this is an annual event that takes place at the Deschutes County Fairground in Redmond. It serves the disadvantage and down on their luck members of our community.
