Volunteer Opportunities
Kemple Clinic, 541-617-1653, Vicki. This non-profit Clinic provides prophys, radiographs, sealants and screenings for underpriveleged childred. Supervising Dentist is Dr. Cate Quaas.
Northwest Medical Teams Van - They travel to remote locations such as Christmas Valley, Gilchrist and Fossil to provide services for needy adults and children. Healthy Beginnings - Mara sets up dental screenings for the under 5 set . Everything is provided, and patients will be referred to dentists if needed. Call her at 541-383-6357
Project Connect - this is an annual event that takes place at the Deschutes County Fairground in Redmond. It serves the disadvantage and down on their luck members of our community. Along with dental services, there is also access to medical services, veterinary care and personal hygiene services. Contact Debbie Stumbaugh at dstumbaugh@medicalteams.org for information.
