Dennis Muir Annual Scholarship Award

The Dennis Muir Annual Scholarship Award began in 1990 in honor of Dennis Muir, a long time supporter of preventive oral health care and community volunteer.  To be eligible for the Scholarship the applicant must be a second year dental hygiene student in an Oregon program and be an Oregon resident.  The criteria for choosing the scholarship are need, scholarship, leadership, and possession of characteristics that make an excellent clinician.  Thirteen $500.00 Scholarships have been awarded.  Donations for the scholarship come from ODHA, ODHA Components, and individuals.  Donations to support this Scholarship are always welcome.
Awards are made at the opening session of the Annual ODHA House of Delegates. Our honored recipients are:
