ODHA's 2009 House of Delegates
November 6-8th: Inn at the Seventh Moutian Resort in Bend, Oregon
Big thanks goes out to our 2009 Lane County Delegates for volunteering their time last November. The Delegates (left to right) were Kat Rogers, Kale Nakamura,Cindi Rasmussen, Laura Roberts, Kelly Simpson, Rhondana Janssens, and Mary Ellen Volansky.

Thank you Laura Roberts for putting together LCDHA's PAC Basket "Shopping Spree," which included a new magnetic purse with changable sides and gift cards to a variety of retail stores and resturants. Congrats goes to Janita Cope of SE Oregon Component who won this basket in a raffle to raise funds for Oregon's P.A.C. at the 2009 ODHA's House of Delegates meeting. LCDHA donated $150 toward the basket, other items were donated by retailers for the cause. Total value = $364.

Offering Required CEs Locally in 2010
Thanks to those participants of LCDHA's 2009 Medical Emergancies/Nitrous Review seminar who help make it a big success for our association! For following years, LCDHA Board would like to alternate Medical Emergancies/Nitrous Review Seminar with Health Care Provider's CPR Class yearly to help local dental professionals meet state CE requirements.

LCDHA's 2010 Continuing Education Classes
Location & Time: The courses will be held at Lane Community College’s main campus building 19 (Center for Meeting and Learning), room 225. They will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. on the dates noted below.
Cost: These local seminars, worth 2 CE credits, are offered FREE for A.D.H.A./A.D.A.A. members & L.C.C. dental hygiene and assisting students.. The following courses do cost $25.00 each for non-members.
Registration: Pre-registration is always appreciated with the use of the form below or participants can pay as they go. Registration is held from 6:15 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. at the door. Both members and non-members must sign in at the door for all classes. Proof of participation will be handed out at the end of each class.
NEW Record Keeping- Starting in February: Fill out a short form for LCC records. Then pay a %5 fee each class. This fee applies to members and non-members if they want a formal record of their CE classes through the college. Please make that check out to Lane Community College.
