WHO SHOULD COME

Any dental hygienist (with or without a Limited Access Permit, now called an Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist), dental hygiene educator , or dental hygiene student is welcome to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A monthly, round table discussion of practice management for the independent dental hygiene practictioner.  This study club aims to be an empowering support group for the brave hygienists who are reaching out to the dentally forgotten.  We will help you network with other LAPs and allied groups who have similar goals, as well as join together to increase our buying power, and overcome some of the barriers that are preventing you from advancing your practice.

To get the most out of the meetings, please arrive about 15 minutes early.  You'll have time to see displays of portable equipment, pick up free printed information on resources for independent practice, see the buying-co-op in action (and participate if you'd like), and get a chance to mingle. Meetings definitely last until 1pm.  I encourage you to block out the time if you can.  Its a great time investment for your future.  However!... If you can only attend part of the meeting... PLEASE feel free to attend that part.

LOCATION

Meetings are generally held at Market of Choice, in Eugene, Oregon unless otherwise indicated.  Plans are being made to hold meetings in Portland and online as well, for those of you who don't live close by! We are also working on having online meetings. Stay tuned!
