Exciting things are happening with your Council on Public Relations. The Council is currently working on projects to give the ODHA a "fresh look".
The Council on Public Relations has put together information packets for each component. This packet covers information about creating a newsletter and how to contact the media. We encourage you to speak with your component to find out what activities are being done and how you can help.

The goal of the Public Affairs Council is to expand Consumer Awareness of various health initiatives within the dental hygiene profession.
The Public Affairs Council facilitates in the utilization of local media to promote dental hygiene projects, programs, and activities within the communities of Oregon related to consumer awareness of health.
These include but are not limited to National Children’s Dental Health Month, sealant programs, health fairs, fluoridation coalitions, and Limited Access Permit.
The Public Affairs Council works actively with existing coalitions and looks for opportunities to create new coalitions.
