Position Open

The goal of the Public Affairs Council is to expand Consumer Awareness of various health initiatives within the dental hygiene profession.

The Public Affairs Council facilitates in the utilization of local media to promote dental hygiene projects, programs, and activities within the communities of Oregon related to consumer awareness of health.

These include but are not limited to National Children’s Dental Health Month, sealant programs, health fairs, fluoridation coalitions, and Limited Access Permits for hygienists.

The Public Affairs Council works actively with existing coalitions and looks for opportunities to create new coalitions.
