Course Description:

You are invited to join the Metro East Component for this in-person February CE, OCD and Me, presented by Laine Aus Neal at the West Linn home of Lori Aus. We will discuss mental health in an intimate gathering setting to give us time to connect and support each other. Limited attendance so sign up today! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Course Objectives:

• A better understand of obsessive-compulsive Disorder, Type A personality, anxiety and panic attacks
• Mental health challenges of healthcare workers
• Relating these conditions to perfectionism
• How the body and brain work together -- the good and the bad
• Strategies and coping mechanisms

Presenter: Laine Aus Neal is a dental hygienist in private practice in Damascus. After declaring her major at age 6 of wanting to be a dental hygienist, she went on to get her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies at Cascade College before attending the dental hygiene program at MHCC where she graduated in 2008 as a second generation hygienist. 

Format and CE Hours: This session will only be offered in-person (no virtual option available). You will receive 2 hours of CE by attending this course.
