ODHA Virtual CE Requirements The "why".... Why it's important - The ODHA has the privilege to offer CE to our fellow hygienists. However, these privileges can be taken away if we don't vet experienced speakers or document attendance responsibly. The "how"... Arrive on Time - It's ODHA's policy to allow you to arrive up to 20-minutes late. But, of course, it's best to arrive on time! Things come up, we understand but this is for your direct benefit. Stay Until the End - If you don't stay until the end, you might miss important information that helps you take the best care of your patient. Respond to Check-Ins - Multiple check-ins will be randomly conducted during the course you are attending. Please respond via the links provided in the chat. You must respond within 5 minutes of the links being posted or we can't be sure you remained present the entire time. Click on the link, enter the information requested and submit. Easy as that! Camera ON - We realize that sometimes you just don't want to be seen. That's okay, choose a fun filter to show your presence, that's okay! We like the Kitty filter! It's not fun to repeat CE's that have already been paid for. We actually hate it. - Please know, we simply have to do this. If someone isn't showing their presence, as a board we have to meet and decide what we are comfortable with. If we get audited by the Oregon Board of Dentistry, we could have our rights to offer CE's revoked. We volunteer for all of you, for our profession, and because of this, WE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. Thank you!
